Prof. Dr. Linjun XIA

PHILOSOPHY

Prof. Dr. Linjun XIA has more than 30 years of clinical experience in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and specializes in acupuncture techniques and TCM prescriptions.

1983-1988

Changchun University of TCM, Bachelor of Medicine

2007-2010

Heilongjiang University of TCM, Doctor of Medicine

2012

In 2012, he became a student of Professor Zhang Jin, the representative heir of TCM and acupuncture recognized as intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO and a famous acupuncture master, and became his academic successor.

2013

In 2013, he passed the examination and evaluation of the Senior Professional title of the WFCMS and was promoted to Chief Physician of TCM.

  • Visiting Professor at Shenzhou University of TCM, Netherlands.

Editorial board member of the World Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine (WJTCM).

Vice Chairman of the Budapest TCM and Acupuncture Heritage Base of the World Federation of Acupuncture Societies (WFAS).

Vice-Chairman of the World Traditional Medicine Forum (WTMF).

Honor

  • Won the Outstanding Contribution Award for promoting the culture of traditional Chinese medicine in Hungary in 2012.

  • In 2017, he received a letter of appointment from Mr. Medgyessy Péter, the former Prime Minister of Hungary, and accompanied the former Prime Minister on his visit to China in May of the same year.

  • In 2020, he won the Sail Award for International Exchange of Traditional Chinese Medicine from the World Federation of Trade in Traditional Chinese Medicine Services.

  • In 2021, he received the honorary title of “Outstanding COVID-19 Fighting Volunteer” from the Federation of Central and Eastern European Traditional Chinese Medicine Societies.

  • In 2022 he won the World Integrated Medicine Outstanding Paper Award.

  • In 2022 he won the “Outstanding Contribution to the World`s Integrated Response to COVID-19”

  • In 2022 he won the honorary title “Top Ten Acupuncture Expert Award of World Integrative Medicine”
